Less than a month until Olivia is 1-year-old.
I can’t believe it. My littlest baby will no longer be a baby. I sit here thinking about how I brought home my one and only daughter home from the hospital, so excited to finally have one. I’ve had the chance to watch her learn things. I have been here every time she’s learned something new. I’ve held her through every fun moment and every sad one. She has been my baby.
We don’t plan on having any more children so this is the last time I get to celebrate a “first” birthday. This is the last time I get to watch any “first”.
Olivia walked for the first time this past weekend. Walking before she is one: Our only child to do that. I love the hell out of this little girl. Out of this baby.
But she won’t be my little baby anymore in 28 days. She’ll be my little toddler.
Who am I kidding, she’ll always be my baby.
