Have you (like all of us) been waiting to see where they would take Toy Story after the 3rd one? I remember seeing Toy Story 3 and bringing the movie how to show my son. He was scared of Lotso but otherwise loved the movie. So, every Toy Story is special in our house.
Seriously, my husband had the first 2 movies on DVD BEFORE we got married. We have always been Disney nerds and plan on turning our kids into them as well. Check out my review below:
Synopsis:
Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. My Review:
LOVE. This might be my favorite Toy Story movie. I mean, you start with some scenes from the previous movies and more of a back story to Bo Peep. This helps the movie a lot because I never even realized she was gone. But if you look back, there is an absence of Bo.
Bonnie is the cutest and even though she has slowed down on playing with Woody, he still cares about taking care of her. That even makes making sure Forky is around to help her. Forky cracks me up by the way.
I don’t want to ruin the ending but I love it. I definitely didn’t see it coming but it was perfect for the movie and the characters. It did leave me a little teary-eyed. You will feel for the characters just like you did every other movie.
