This is a post sponsored by Nutrisystem. I am part of the #NsNation Blogger program. All opinions are my own.
I’ve completed 2 weeks on Nutrisystem.
I have to say, I thought it would be harder than it has been. I thought I would be fighting temptation more often than I do. I thought I would lose that fight more often that I’d win it.

But I’ve made it 2 weeks. I’ve made it.
This past week was the first week on the full program. I get to eat more than I did during turbo week. I am able to workout as well. But it took me quite some time to figure out my plan with the powerfuels and smartcarbs. I like to use yogurt and almond milk as powerfuels. Fruits are my favorite smartcarbs. Strawberries and pineapples are my favorite. I have a yogurt in the morning and a smoothie in the afternoon. Both keep me full and are delicious. I can also hide a couple veggies in the smoothie so it works out.

I ended up having my first flex lunch and dinner on the same day because we traveled 3 hours away from the house due to spring break. For lunch, we stopped at Arby’s and I had a chopped farmhouse salad with Turkey (light Italian dressing). For dinner, I had 2 steak soft tacos fresco style from Taco bell. We stopped for ice cream for the children and I had a treat of frozen yogurt, which was nice.
These are things I would have normally picked from either restaurant but now that I know they are there, I know what I can get. They were both delicious.
We stopped for ice cream for the children and I had a treat of frozen yogurt, which was nice. I was surprised I didn’t want ice cream but the frozen yogurt did the trick.
What have I learned about myself?
I can live without sugar. I have for the last 2 weeks and I can keep going.
Now that I’m consuming fewer calories, I need to learn how to work out again. I don’t have as much energy.
I need to make sure I’m moving no matter what. Too much time in the car this week.
Weight update below! Yes, it did slow down from turbo week. I blame it on the increase in calories and my lack of moving this past week. I traveled 2 days in a row and missed an exercise day because of it. I also had a project due this Sunday that kept me on the computer a lot. If you want to start from my beginning, here is my first week with Nutrisystem and when I started my journey.
